Since the rise of superhero films in the 2000s and 2010s, we’ve gotten a lot of different types of superhero movies. We’ve even gotten supervillain movies. But we’ve never had a supervillain horror movie like this one.

DC Studios’ Clayface has got to be one of the most surprising releases from a major studio this year. It’s especially surprising when you consider this is just the third film in James Gunn’s newly-minted DCU.
